The Network to assist victims of trafficking in Asia promotes joint ACTION by increasing awareness of human trafficking in Asia and advocating a multidisciplinary approach to case management for high quality standards of trafficked persons’ rehabilitation in Asia.
This work is about people; it is for them that we have to be hopeful, brave and insistent.
Case Management for victims of trafficking in Asia is a network with the vision to link and share discussion and activities to better the lives of trafficked persons by making rehabilitation, counseling and psycho-educational services accessible to all victims of trafficking through the available resources in the community.

A Multidisciplinary Approach
A Multidisciplinary Approach comprises various interrelated phases for protection, including the following:
1. Fact-finding or investigation: Identification of both
the physical and psychosocial symptoms of abuse,
determine how the victim was abused and by whom,
and to ascertain the relationship between the child
and the abuser
2. Immediate and short-term protection: Placement of the victim in a safe environment
3. Rehabilitation: Development of a plan for treatment
and rehabilitation in response to his or her needs
and the situation
4. Reintegration: Return of the victim to his or her
family and community, and to a sense of
normalcy
5. Prevention of the re-victimization of the victim:
Establishment of mechanisms for the reduction of
risk factors in the family and community
